Ludmila Udodik is a native of Kostopil, Ukraine. She began her music studies at the age of twelve with Tatyana Ivanova, being taught Russian Piano Technique. Ludmila later continued her studies under Jensina Oliver and Dr. John Pickett, culminating in a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance from Central Washington University. Throughout her studies, she received several awards, including the Schaake Talent Scholarship at Central Washington University.
Ludmila greatly enjoys collaborating with other musicians, both vocalists and instrumentalists alike. As a student, she had numerous collaborative opportunities and performances, with chamber music being a favorite in particular. She has worked as an accompanist for CWU’s Theatre Department, the Missoulla Children’s Theatre, Shoreline Community College, and First Christian Church. She was also very active in the Awakening Church’s Music Ministry for ten years, accompanying the choirs, working with their small ensembles, and assisting the orchestra.
Ludmila has been teaching since 2008 and is passionate about music education and the arts.
